The H415HD harvester head is available for John Deere 1270G and 1470G harvesters. John Deere harvester heads are known for their productivity, reliability and measuring accuracy. The H415HD extends the line of four roller series and offers tireless power to process large and crooked stems.

The new H212 harvester head has been designed specifically for thinnings. The harvester head’s dimensions give it agility in navigating even dense thinning stands. Delimbing has been optimized for smaller trees, enabling a very high-quality delimbing result. The location and the high-speed cutting of the saw increases productivity and minimizes cutting damage. It has the power and feed speed also for bigger trees. The H212 harvester head is available for John Deere 1070G and 1170G harvesters.

NEW H219 HARVESTER HEAD FOR LARGE HARVESTERS AND BIG TIMBER The H219 is ideal for use with large harvesters and big timber. The two-wheel-drive H219 harvester head has dual-speed feed motors. Its feed force and speed automatically adjust to the size of the timber being processed. Delimbing quality is excellent regardless of the diameter of the timber.

Timo Ylänen, Director, John Deere Forestry Oy, has been appointed Vice President, Worldwide Forestry, Deere&Company. In his new position Ylänen will be responsible for full-tree and cut-to-length machine business globally and will be a member of the Construction & Forestry senior leadership team.

The new H424 harvester head replaces the previous, best-selling H414. The H424 has a redesigned look. The changes based on customer feedback improve productivity, ease of service, durability, uptime, measuring accuracy and reduce daily operating costs. This model is also equipped with the new SuperCut 100S saw unit. The H424 harvester head is available for John Deere 1070G, 1170G and 1270G harvesters.

John Deere is launching redesigned jib boom options equipped with a hidden hose extension for forwarders with CF5, CF7 and CF7S booms. The redesigned jib booms bring a clear improvement in usability, durability and serviceability. The new XI-designated hidden hose extensions will be an available option for the 910G, 1010G, 1110G, 1210G and 1510G forwarders during spring 2021.

INTELLIGENT BOOM CONTROL NOW AVAILABLE ALSO FOR 1070G HARVESTERS A milestone in forest machine technology, John Deere’s Intelligent Boom Control (IBC), is now available for all John Deere WCTL forest machines. IBC was launched for forwarders in 2013. It was introduced for harvesters in 2017, initially for the 1270G and 1170G models. IBC was available for the biggest harvester model, the 1470G, earlier in 2020, and it will now be available also for the smaller 1070G harvester.
