New John Deere Gator debuts at BTME 2018
John Deere’s new HPX 815E Gator utility vehicle will be making its public show debut at BTME 2018 in Harrogate next January. This latest diesel powered Gator shares its new styling with the XUV 855M model, which replaces the 855D.
New 5 Series tractors from John Deere
John Deere has announced a number of improvements to its lower horsepower 5M and 5E Series tractors up to 115hp, which are suitable for arable, livestock and mixed farms as well as specialist growers. The company has also extended the 5E range with the introduction of the new 49hp 5050E, John Deere’s smallest agricultural tractor. Models from both ranges will be featured on the John Deere stand (G19) at LAMMA ’18.
New generation HarvestLab system for John Deere foragers
John Deere’s stand (G19) at LAMMA ’18 will feature the company’s latest 8000 Series self-propelled forage harvester, equipped with a new generation HarvestLab sensing system. Other new products on show for the first time at LAMMA will include the S700 Series automated combine and V400 Series variable-chamber round baler, alongside the award-winning 6250R and 8400R tractors and the latest FarmSight precision farming technology.

The John Deere combine header 700D Series is a rigid knife draper belt header available in 4 widths from 7.60 - 12.20m. The speed of the side belts can be adjusted directly from the cab to suit the combine’s ground speed. The 25mm deep cleats provide better crop engagement for consistent transport to the center feed drum. The header angle and cutting height can be adjusted on the go from the cab. With a cut height as low as 38mm it’s ideal if you want a clean field, or you’re picking up laid or low growing crops.
