John Deere has announced that Devon and Cornwall dealer Smallridge Bros Ltd will be expanding its agricultural sales area into mid and west Cornwall, effective from 1st November 2020.

John Deere has announced a change to its senior management affecting the leadership in Region 2 (Europe and the CIS). Alejandro Sayago is appointed Vice President, Ag & Turf Sales & Marketing, Region 2, replacing Denny Docherty who has elected to retire on October 31, 2020.

John Deere will not attend international trade shows in 2021

In order to ensure the safety of customers and employees, John Deere has announced that it will not attend any international agricultural and turf trade shows in Europe and the CIS during the company’s 2021 fiscal year (1 November 2020 to 31 October 2021), as this would require extensive international travel. Instead, the company will use a new marketing mix of traditional and digital tools to deliver information to customers.

Double A to acquire Nairn Brown

John Deere turf dealership The Double A Trading Company Ltd, which has its head office in Cupar, Fife and a second outlet at Kintore in Aberdeenshire, has agreed to acquire Nairn Brown (Glasgow) Ltd of Busby.

P Tuckwell to acquire Burden Bros Agri dealership

John Deere is pleased to announce that the owners of P Tuckwell Ltd have reached an agreement to acquire the Burden Bros Agri Ltd John Deere dealership business, which covers Kent, East Sussex and parts of Surrey for both agricultural and turf equipment. This will bring the total number of Tuckwell outlets to 10, including the existing dealerships covering Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
